Not for the feint of heart

This newborn stuff is hard.

I cried for an hour this morning when Tyler's alarm went off because he was leaving early for work.

The ugly cry. Snot all over. Can't catch my breath cry.

Because I knew I'd have to get up with the other four kids sooner than I wanted.

And I had only slept 3 hours at that point.

We're bustin' out the formula soon.

I'm going to have to rely more on supplementing.

Sigh.

And PS. I can't think of a reason why 6 would be better than 5, yet. So those of you thinking we'll do this again . . . RASPBERRIES to you.

Been there! Not with FOUR other kids but I can completely empathize with the no sleep and still have to do everything thing. Men don't know how easy they have it! I know you have lots of family to help you but if you need ANYTHING, please let me know. Love you.

I feel for you. New babies are SO hard. Just the other night Dane kept me up (I think he had a tummy ache or teething or something) and I got about 3 hours of sleep. What I wouldn't do for just six hours of uninterrupted sleep!

Okay, I am totally up at 5 a.m. so send 'em over to me. I'm getting this morning routine down pretty good, so I'll just swing by your house and pick up your kids...whatdaya think?

On man...I'm sorry about the sleep or lack there of. I can barely deal with Ellie sometimes so I really can't imagine! So I take it no #6 huh?

Oh I know how you feel. To me the first few moths are the hardest. No schedule and craziness all over the place. Smile. It will get better:)

PS 6 isnt all that different. Just one more...;)

Oh, I am Julie B. sister. I grew up in your ward.

Sorry Sarah! I feel like 3 is the hardest thing in the world. I cant even imagine 5! I really lucked out with getting a great sleeper with this one though. I'd REALLY be going crazy if i didn't have sleep. Katelyn doesn't really let me put her down during the day if she's awake she want to eat! so that's pretty much what i do all day!
I'm sorry!

I have used you as an example of strength for a friend here who gave birth to #2 a week after you. You're a champ!!! This too shall pass. Hang in there.

Ohh the sleep deprivation is soooo hard. I felt like I was in a complete fog for the first 6 weeks of Kate's life, only because I was so stinkin tired.

It will get better. It will get better.

Sarah - totally get the "so tired I can't think". I get post-partum pretty nasty, too...I imagine that's part of what you're going through as well. You're an amazing mother and your children will never remember it if you zonk out on the couch for a nap here and there! :) Wish it were that easy, huh? Much Love.

ah babe-we all feel for you. I know that does not neccessarily make you feel better, but it should give you permission to go and get your fav treat and watch a chick flick. Might I reccomend ps i love you. You will cry-but it will be a good cry!

Hey, got more info on the swap-go and check it out. I need some info from you. Thanks. Hope that you have a "sweet" day!

Sarah, I don't think I have slept a full night since I started having kids and my oldest is 28. Just when you think the kids are older now I can sleep well...surprise you can't because they are in their teens and you have to wait for them to come home then when they are gone surprise...you are to old and your body says no. One day we won't need sleep. lol
